Sacred
Heart
Convent
radiating
in its
centennial
anniversary

pioneered
a social

reformation

the
C.M.C.
Nirmala
Province
Thrissur. Transcending
the
abyss of
conservatism
it has
nurtured
and
propagated
the
visions
envisaged
by the
Blessed Chavara
Elias
through
the
institutions
dedicated
to
Sacred
Heart of
Jesus.
The
humble
beginning
of
Sacred
Heart
School
with 107
students
on 7th
June
1920
reached
the
zenith
of its
growth
with the
establishment
of the
higher
secondary
school
in 1998.
The
Honorable
Education
Minister
Sri.
P.J.
Joseph
officially
inaugurated
the
Higher
Secondary
section
with
courses
in
Science,
Commerce
and
Humanities
on
November
11th
1998.
Retaining
the
heritage
of the
Sacred
Heart
Schools
the
Higher
Secondary
section
also has
left an
indelible
imprint
in the
academic
and
extra
curricular
activities.
The
Ranks
and
Grades
scored
each
year in
the
Public
Examinations
is the
acclamation
of the
importance
given to
academic
excellence.
The well
equipped
laboratories
and
reference
library
have
supported
them to
elevate
to this
level of
glory
Ample
opportunities
are
provided
to bring
out the
latent
talents
of the
students.
The
Literary
Association
Meetings
and
Manuscript
Magazine
Competitions
reflect
the
creative
talents
of the
students.
School
Youth
festivals,
Tourism
Club,
Sports
Day,
celebrations
associated
with
Onam,
Christmas
ect., are
venues
which
ensure
the
exposition
and
growth
of the
talents
of the
students.
Classes
imparting
moral
and
spiritual
values
mould
and
adapt
the
learners
to shine
and
survive
in this
disintegrating
world.
